Imagine yourself in a dense rainforest with flowing streams below, as you look down from a small hill surrounded by emerald green. A gentle breeze waifs through the trees as you step off the platform. Suddenly, you're soaring through the air, feeling the incredible rush of excitement fling over the stream landing on a platform some 500 feet away. Now that's a rush! Kauai Backcountry Adventures offers one of the most thrilling Kauai Zipline Tours to be found in Hawaii. Your adventure begins with a fun and informative scenic ride in a 4 wheel drive Swiss built Pinzauer transport vehicle through the historical Lihue Plantation to the mountain outpost. Along the way your guide will share interesting information on island history, culture, flora and fauna. Once you arrive at the first zipline you will receive a thorough briefing to prepare you for soaring over the tropical rainforest, streams and jungle rich with spectacular beauty. You will glide down the mountainside, sailing along a series of seven ziplines, as you make your way to the valley floor. After this fantastic experience you will be able to take a refreshing swim in a natural fresh water pool, have lunch in a bamboo grove and relax. Relish in the memories of the most exciting and sought out Kauai activity for years to come. Meet Location & Times: The meet location for this is at the Kauai Backcountry Office; 3-4131 Kuhio Highway, Hanana'ula, Kauai, Hawaii 96715. Zipline Tour times are 8:30am, 9:30am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm daily. Check in is 45 minutes prior to the tour. Please note that available times may vary from summer to winter. There may be less tour times available during the winter. Any adjustments in the tour time will be as close as possible to your requested time. Line Lengths: This exciting Kauai Zipline Tour includes 7 ziplines on the course. All zip lines zip over a stream and are fairly long in length. The hiking is considered very mild over uneven terrain with only 2 hiking locations between ziplines. Lines lengths are as follows. Line 1 is 453 feet Line 2 is 753 feet Line 3 is 716 feet Line 4 is 750 feet Line 5 is 864 feet Line 6 is 650 feet Line 7 is 508 feet Lunch Menu: The lunch menu for this Kauai Zipline Tours is picnic style with the following sandwich selections. Turkey       Veggie Lunch is rounded out with chips, a cookie and bottled water. Lunch is provided after the Zipline tour is completed. Enjoy a swim in the stream after lunch. Important Information: When scheduling a Zipline tour with Kauai Backcountry Adventures through the Maui Fun Company / Activity Savers Maui / Activity Savers Kauai the reservation will be confirmed with your credit card. The Maui Fun Company / Activity Savers Maui / Activity Savers Kauai will charge a 15% deposit to the card 10 days before you depart to Hawaii and e-mail you the voucher. The remaining balance of 80% is collected by Kauai Backcountry when you check in for the Zip line tour. Please note that Kauai Backcountry Adventures will only accept VISA and MASTERCARD. Kauai Backcountry Adventures does not accept third party billing such as wedding gifts and etc. The balance due upon check in must be paid by a member of your party doing the Zipline tour or someone who is not doing the activity, but present when you check in for the event.
