Surf Lessons: Kayak Kauai surf school provides a safe personal surfing lesson for the beginner. It's not hard and all the surf lessons are guaranteed. This means you will "surf da wave". You are guaranteed to stand during your first lesson. Surf boards provided for your lesson are all soft foam boards. Instructions emphasize safe surfing and wave dynamics. After the session, you will be issued a Surfing Diploma suitable for framing, which will look good on your wall providing you a memory of your Kauai Surfing Lesson. A relaxing way to enjoy the calm water of ocean on a flat wave day, or inside the surf break. Kayak Kauai offers stand up paddle lessons on the Hanalei River where the soft currents and smooth surface provide a perfect condition to learn. A few hundred yards down stream the Hanalei River meets the ocean providing a little more adventure as you learn how to negotiate the ocean current and swells. Stand up paddle is easy to get hooked on, so don't be surprised if you find yourself liking it quite a bit! This Kauai Surfing Lesson is rated family friendly. Meeting Location & Times: Check in for this Kauai Surfing Lesson is 45 minutes prior to the start of the surf lesson. Meet at Kayak Kauai Hanalei Shop on the Kuhio Highway (560), one mile past the old Hanalei iron bridge as you enter Hanalei Town. Surf lessons are at 10:00am or 2:00pm.
