A refrigerator and a stereo system. The Lahela also sports a covered fly bridge with seating. The Lahela fishes for Blue Marlin, Stripe Marlin, Pacific Short Nose Spear Fish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Ono, Skip Jack / Aku, Rainbow Runner, Amber Jack / Kahala and a host of bottom fish. Basically, whatever is catchable? Anglers get to keep 100% of their catch. The Gear: The Lahela is tournament rigged with a 130lb class fighting chair. Shimano Tiagra reels rated for 20lb to 130lb test line. Complete sets of stand up tackle for 12lb, up to 50lb class line along with stand up belts and harness. All charters use a maximum of 6 rods. Departure Times & Location: The Lahela departs from Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor in Lihue, slip 109. Check in with Lahela Ocean Adventures. Check in times will vary according to season. General speaking by about 30 minutes for the morning charters. Seasonal change is from 5:30am May through September and 6:00am from October through April. Departure is 30 minutes after check in. Hawaiian Style Fishing had this boat designed and built on Kauai for island waters. The Nalani L sits low in the water resulting in less rock and roll with more stability. This charter boat has a wider work area in the back, bigger fish boxes and a live bait well. The Nalani L is certified by the US Coast Guard to carry a maximum of 6 passengers and safety equipped with life jackets for all. The Nalani L has a sailor potty aboard. This is not a restroom. The Gear: The Nalani L provides all the tackle, necessary fishing licenses and raingear. Hawaiian Style Fishing is prepared for anything that swims by or under the boat. On board equipment includes Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels. An 80stw for the big game fish and 50stw for the smaller game. All tackle is provided from artificial lure to live bait.
