Kauai Boats Dives Description: All boat dives limit group size to no more than 7 divers and dive master. This small group size allows the diver to have a more personal experience. Videos of all dives are shot during the dives. You will have a chance to view the video back at the Sea Sports Dive Shop after the dive to ask questions about any part of the dive. AM Dives: 2 Tank Certified Dive: Experienced Divers Only: This dive charter is primary designed for the experienced diver. It doesn't mean you have to be an advance diver, but you should feel comfortable in the water and diving from a boat. This morning Kauai scuba diving adventure will often do drift dives and reach depths of 80' to 100' on the first dive. The second dive is typically from 60' to 70'. Dive sites are chosen based on ocean conditions and guest preference. Dive sites that may be included are Brennecke's Ledge, Ice Box, Fastlanes, General Store and the Sheraton Caves. All locations are fascinating, with a different experience at each. Every dive site is teeming with a variety of marine life and colorful coral formations.

PM Dives: 2 Tank Dive: Intro / Refresher Certified Dives: This trip is designed primary for the intro-diver, rusty diver. The pace on the afternoon dive charter is a bit slower than the morning with the dive sites also being somewhat shallower. Both afternoon dives are between 40' to 60'. Groups are separated according to experience. Intro-divers will dive in a group with a dive master. Certified or rusty divers seeking to refresh their diving adventures will dive in a separate group with a dive master. Some of the dive sites that may be included in this afternoon dive are the Sheraton Caves, Nukomoi Poing and Stormhouse. All locations are fascinating, with a different experience at each. Ocean conditions will determine the dive sites for the afternoon dives.

Ni'ihau Diving Description: This is a 3 Tank Certified Dive: Advance divers only. The Forbidden Island of Ni'ihau hosts some of the finest diving in all of Hawaii. From incredible wall dives, soaring lava formations, arches and huge caves, Ni'ihau diving offers a glimpse into a world underwater that will impress even the avid diver. You'll likely encounter large schools of Milletseed and Pyramid Butterfly fish, the rare Bandit Angelfish, Manta Rays, octopus, lobster, Hawaiian Monk Seal, a variety of sharks, spotted eagle rays, the spinner dolphin and forests of colorful coral that lie beneath the waves off Ni'ihau. Ni'ihau is only accessible by boat. Ni'ihau is 17 miles off shore from Kauai and takes about 2.5 hours to cross the Kaulakahi Channel. The morning journey to Ni'ihau is usually quite calm and clear; however the ride back can be an adventure as the channel can get rough in the afternoon. This is an outstanding Kauai dive trip. Probably the best scuba diving adventure in Hawaii.

Kauai Shore Diving Description: All shore dives use Koloa Landing also known as Whalers Cove as the dive site. This dive site is teeming with marine life and abundant with colorful coral formations. You will encounter just about every fish on a Hawaiian Fish chart. Kauai Sea Sports experienced dive guides take you on a 5' to 50' unforgettable Kauai Shore Diving adventure. Koloa Landing was voted one of the best shore dives in the Pacific. A great dive for the beginner! (Or anyone for that matter...) Times & Departure Location: All dives meet at Sea Sports Poipu Dive Shop. The address for the dive shop is 2827 Poipu Road, Koloa, Kauai, 96756. Boat Dives: Boat dives are offered twice daily seven days a week: Morning dives depart at 7:30am. Check in is at 7:00am. Afternoon dives depart at 12:45pm. Check in is at 12:15pm. Ni'ihau Dive: The departure for this dive is at 6:30am. Check in at 6:00am. The return back to Poipu is about 6:00pm. Shore Dives: The morning Shore Dive departs at 8:00am. Check in is at 7:30am. The afternoon Shore Dive departs at 1:00pm. Check in is at 12:30pm. Please note the Shore Dives take 2 divers to confirm.

The Dive Boats: Sea Sports Divers use 2 dive boats for their Kauai dives. Anela Kai: (Sea Angel) The Anela Kai is the most spacious and luxurious dive boat on Kauai. The Anela Kai is a custom fitted PRO-48 dive boat. The US Coast Guard has certified the Anela Kai for 42 passengers. Sea Sports Divers limits guest capacity to 18 divers for all South Shore dives. Ni'ihau dives are limited to 12 divers. The Anela Kai is equipped with 2 hot water showers, a 10 person observation deck and 2 ladders for exiting the water. The Anela Kai also features a camera table, rise bucket, a CD stereo and a TV. With a large main cabin, the Anela Kai offers plenty of room to take a break from the sun or warm up after the dive.

Anuhea: The Anuhea is a 32 foot power catamaran. The Anuhea was designed and built on Kauai specifically for Hawaiian Waters. The US Coast Guard has certified the Anuhea for 18 divers. Sea Sports Divers limits guest capacity to 12 divers on this charter boat. The Anuhea is equipped with a fresh water shower and a wide ladder for easily exiting the water and a covered cabin. The Maui Fun Company / Activity Savers Maui / Activity Savers Kauai will charge a 20% deposit to the card 10 days before you depart to Hawaii and e-mail you the voucher. The remaining balance of 80% is collected by Seasports Divers when you check in for the Scuba Diving Adventure. Please note that Seasports Divers accepts all major credit cards. Seaports Divers does not accept third party billing such as wedding gifts and etc. The balance due upon check in must be paid by a member of your party doing the Scuba Diving Adventure or someone who is not doing the activity, but present when you check in for the event.
