Your voyage of discovery begins with a cruise up the lush Na Pali Coast relishing in the beauty of tropical towering cliffs, tumbling waterfalls, lava caves and remote beaches. A short break in the cruise allows you the chance to snorkel the Na Pali Coast and get warmed up for the journey to Niihau. Far out on the horizon Niihau rises above the sea, alone and remote it's with lava arches and pinnacles becoming closer as each moment passes. Dolphins begin to swim along side the boat with dancing eyes and smile as you approach the Forbidden Island. Snorkeling at Niihau is a special experience in incredibly clear waters, with schools of marine life, turtles above ancient colorful reefs. Very few will ever discover the secret, but those who do will remember it for a lifetime. Scuba Diving: Blue Dolphin Charters offers scuba diving as an extra on this Niihau snorkeling trip. You can reserve a 1 tank scuba diving experience on the reservation page. The cost is $35.00 plus tax. You would pay this direct to Blue Dolphin Charters when you check in for the activity. We only reserve the tanks for you. The Boat: The Blue Dolphin uses a 63' or 65' sailing catamaran powered by twin diesel Cummins 350hp engines. The Blue Dolphin has a large shaded cabin, comfortable seating, clean spacious restrooms and a fresh water shower. All snorkel gear is provided and snorkeling 101 is provided by the crew of Blue Dolphin on the way up to the Na Pali Coast. All snorkeling gear is provided by Blue Dolphin Charters. The Blue Dolphin offers noodles and boogie boards as floatation devices to anyone who would like to use them. This Kauai snorkeling tour limits guest capacity to 49 guests. The HoloHolo's friendly crew will assist and instruct you in snorkeling for a relaxing float to watch the incredible variety of marine life that make Niihau home. No other place in Hawaii offers you such unique colorful coral formations than Niihau Island.
